Ideal als Fotokalender
Man darf von einem 7-Farben Display keine Bildqualität wie von einem LCD-Display erwarten, aber für Text in einem der 7 Farben oder Text mit Bildhintergrund ist es perfekt, da es keine externe Stromversorgung benötigt. Ich verwende es als digitalen Kalender mit zwei Bildern pro Tag. Die originale Firmware ist dazu allerdings nicht brauchbar, da sie nur 100 Fotos unterstützt. Da sie aber Open Source ist, ist das kein Problem. Eine Version die, durch Verwendung fester Bildnamen, bis zu 90000 Bilder unterstützt findet man auf: h t t p s : / / o n l i b . d e / p u b / P h o t o P a i n t e r (die Leerzeichen entfernen). Dort gibt es auch Software zum Erstellen der Kalenderbilder und ein paar Beispielfotos.
