Product information "Adafruit air pump and vacuum DC motor - 4.5 V, 2.5 LPM"
When powered, the pump draws air from the side of the plastic housing and pushes it out of the hose connection. Reversing the polarity of the motor does not change the direction of the air flow! If you need to both inflate and deflate something, you will need two pumps. The delivery rate is 2.5 LPM (litres per minute) and has a maximum pressure of -55 kpa.
This pump is not designed for continuous operation. The data sheet states that the design has been tested for 30,000 cycles of 10 seconds on, 5 seconds off. We would recommend a duty cycle of approximately 50%. We offer this pump for engineers, makers, students and artists looking for something simple and affordable for inflatable robots or art projects.
You can control the motor with PWM to speed up or slow down the flow rate. Works great with a power transistor (easy on/off) or a motor driver chip like the L293D and with all boards from our CRICKIT series. Like all pumps, it vibrates a lot, so make sure it rests on a soft foam or sponge so the vibrations don't make too much noise.
Please note: This is only the pump. The silicone hose is not included.
This pump is only suitable for air!

Light comes into the dark with Adafruit NeoPixel

Adafruit Feather Boards: Powerful hardware in a compact format
With Adafruit Feather, the hardware specialist from the States also has various powerful development boards in its range, which are essentially equivalent to an Arduino in terms of function. All of these boards are equipped with similar features; among other things, the pin assignment is the same and there are also many parallels when it comes to the microcontrollers and the battery charging properties.
