Das Adafruit PiCowbell CAN Bus Board ist eine Erweiterung für den Raspberry Pi Pico und Pico W, die eine Anbindung an CAN-Bus-Netzwerke ermöglicht. Der integrierte MCP2515 CAN-Controller zusammen mit dem TJA1051/3-Transceiver erlaubt die Kommunikation über den robusten und weit verbreiteten CAN-Bus, wie er ursprünglich für Fahrzeuge konzipiert wurde. Das Board nutzt eine SPI-Schnittstelle und benötigt lediglich zwei zusätzliche GPIOs für den Betrieb. Eine vorinstallierte 3,5-mm-Klemmleiste bietet direkten Zugang zu den CAN-Datenleitungen High und Low sowie Masse.
