Das Argon ONE V5 M.2 NVMe Expansion Board ist eine Erweiterungsplatine zur Speichererweiterung für den Raspberry Pi 5. Es wurde speziell für das Argon ONE V5 Gehäuse (nicht enthalten) entwickelt und ermöglicht den Anschluss einer M.2 NVMe SSD mit M-Key in den Formfaktoren 2230, 2242, 2260 oder 2280. Die Datenübertragung erfolgt über PCIe Gen 2.0 mit einer maximalen Geschwindigkeit von 500 MB/s pro Lane. Das Board unterstützt den Bootvorgang direkt von der SSD, sofern ein kompatibler Bootloader installiert ist.
Die kompakte Platine wird über die vorhandene Infrastruktur des Gehäuses mit Strom versorgt und lässt weiterhin Platz für optionale OLED- oder Zigbee-Module. Es kann ausschließlich einzeln in Kombination mit dem Gehäuse betrieben werden.
