The sensor outputs a digital high/low level (low when liquid is detected) and has a 3-pin DuPont connector that can be used in water tanks, beverage machines, water pipes, test tubes and other areas.
The intelligent liquid level sensor uses the sensing capacity of water to detect the presence of liquid. When no liquid is approaching the sensor, the sensor has some static capacitance due to the distributed capacitance. As the liquid level near the inductor slowly rises, the parasitic capacitance of the liquid is coupled to the static capacitor, increasing the final capacitance of the inductor. The changed capacitance signal is then fed into the control IC for signal conversion, which then changes. The capacitance is converted into the amount of change in an electrical signal, and a specific algorithm then recognises and assesses the degree of change. If the change exceeds a certain threshold value, it is assumed that the liquid level has reached the measuring point.
