This I2C interface expansion board offers four 4-pin I2C interfaces. The main function is to extend the I2C interfaces of the Crowtail Base Shield. If the existing I2C interfaces of the base shield are not sufficient, this hub can be used to establish a connection to the base shield via a single I2C port. This makes the remaining three I2C ports available for additional I2C devices. The use and connection are straightforward, making the module a flexible extension for projects.
The ability to connect multiple I2C modules means that external I2C modules can be used simultaneously, as long as each connection has a unique I2C address.
