Description
Product information "Elecrow Crowtail Logic Block 2.0, 4-pin JST, 3.3V-5V"
The Elecrow Crowtail Logic Block (NOT) 2.0 is a digital logic module for visualising and implementing inverter circuits. It maps the logical NOT function, in which an input signal is inverted. This means that a logic "1" signal at the input is converted into a "0" signal at the output - and vice versa.
The block has a single input socket (J1, labelled "A") and an output connection (J2, labelled "Y"). A red LED on the module indicates the status of the output signal: if the LED is lit, a logic state "1" is present at the output. The module has a trapezoidal design, which is modelled on the symbolic switching sign of an inverter. The JST-PH 2.0 4-pin connection ensures a stable power and signal connection within the crowtail system.
As part of the modular crowtail logic system, the NOT block can be combined directly with other logic modules, including AND and OR blocks. The standardised plug-in system can be used to build, analyse and demonstrate logical sequences. The block is specially designed for learning and demonstration purposes and is suitable for projects with microcontrollers such as Arduino. Thanks to the visual feedback via the integrated LED, the behaviour of digital logic can be easily understood.
Digital logic circuits operate with binary states: either 1 or 0. These states can also be interpreted as HIGH/LOW or TRUE/FALSE. At hardware level, they typically correspond to voltage levels such as 0 V for "0" and 3.3 V or 5 V for "1". The NOT block negates this state so that, for example, an input of 0 V (LOW) results in an output of 5 V (HIGH) - and vice versa. The LED visually indicates the current logical output state.
The Elecrow Crowtail Logic Block (NOT) 2.0 is used to display logical inversions in digital circuits. It is designed to process a single input signal and invert it. This makes it particularly suitable for illustrating simple logic functions in training or basic technical courses. The integrated LED makes it easier to directly understand the current status of the output signal. The block can be integrated into more complex logic systems by combining it with other modules of the same system.
Typical applications include digital learning systems, prototyping with microcontrollers, visual logic demonstrations and the simulation of simple digital controls. It can be used by simply plugging it in without any additional soldering work.
