The Elecrow Hall sensor module utilises the Hall sensor A3144E. The Hall sensor measures the Hall effect, in which a voltage difference is generated across an electrical conductor. This voltage difference arises when a magnetic field acts on the current in the conductor. The effect describes how the magnetic field affects the voltage in the conductor. The output of the Hall sensor switches to "Low" when a magnetic field exceeds the BOP threshold value and to "High" when the magnetic field disappears again. The BOP threshold is the point at which the Hall sensor recognises that a magnetic field is strong enough to change the signal. A built-in comparator circuit ensures that the output signal becomes more stable. A comparator circuit is a component that compares two signals and ensures that the output signal clearly distinguishes between "high" and "low".
