Product information "Ethernet Shield for Arduino Uno / Mega 2560"
The Ethernet Shield is based on the powerful ATmega328 microcontroller and is specially designed to add extensive network functions to Arduino Uno or Mega 2560 boards. With 14 digital input/output pins, six analogue inputs, a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, an RJ45 connection and a microSD card reader, this shield makes it easy to integrate Arduino projects into networks. It is ideal for developers who want to realise IoT projects or share data via local networks. By using the SD library, the shield can also act as a server for storing and providing files via the network. The special configuration of the I/O pins, with pins 10 to 13 reserved for Ethernet module interaction, optimises performance and reliability in network applications.
