Description

Product information "LilyPad RGB LED"

We know you love adding colour to your e-textiles. Adding the LilyPad Pixel Board to your project will only make it better. The Pixel Board is compatible with a WS2812B (or "NeoPixel"), which is actually an RGB LED with a WS2811 built right into the LED! Multiple of these breakouts can be daisy-chained together to form a display or addressable string.

LilyPad is a wearable technology developed by Leah Buechley and co-designed by Leah and SparkFun. Each LilyPad has been designed to have large connection pads so that it can be sewn into clothing. Different input, output, power and sensor boards are available. They are even washable!

Features:
  • 20mm outer diameter
  • Thin 0.9mm PCB

Safety instructions
  • Only use the LilyPad board with the recommended voltages to prevent damage to the device and connected components.
  • Avoid short circuits, especially on exposed connections and contact elements.
  • Never connect the board to a power source while wiring or electronic work is being carried out.
  • Keep the board away from water-bearing or humid environments to prevent short circuits or corrosion.
  • Only operate with suitable and compatible accessory components (sensors, LEDs, actuators).
  • Ensure that the polarity of the power supply is correct. Incorrectly polarised connections can cause damage.
  • Keep the LilyPad away from children, as small components can be swallowed.
  • Dispose of the board or defective components in accordance with local regulations for electronic waste.
  • Do not use a damaged board - cracks, broken contacts or a burning odour indicate potential hazards.
  • Ensure environmentally friendly disposal, dispose of batteries separately and ensure recycling.
