Product information "LiPo shim for Raspberry Pi"
We love mobile projects, but having a discrete, smooth and neat power supply solution is always tricky. LiPo SHIM (formerly known as Zero LiPo) aims to provide you with the most compact Raspberry Pi power supply possible.
You can either solder the 0.8mm thick board directly to the GPIO pins of your Pi for a permanent solution or solder on the included 2x6 0.1" female header, which allows you to remove your Zero LiPo at any time (but blocks the GPIO pins).
We use the TPS61232 step-up converter from Texas Instruments, which offers up to 96% efficiency. There are LEDs on the board to indicate power-up and battery status. During shutdown (due to undervoltage or external selection), the quiescent current is only 15uA sip.

This is not a charger. You will need a separate charger to recharge your LiPo/LiIon batteries.
The broken out VBAT+ and GND pins can be used as an alternative way to supply power, e.g. if you want to use your own JST power supply.E.g. if you want to solder your own JST connector with wires.
The EN pin can be pulled to ground to interrupt the power output of LiPo SHIM.
