The Core2 for AWS includes an ESP32-D0WDQ6-V3 microcontroller with two Xtensa 32-bit LX6 cores and a main frequency of up to 240 MHz and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. It has 8 MB PSRAM and 16 MB Flash on board.
The main unit is equipped with a 2.0-inch capacitive touch screen that provides a smooth and responsive user interface. The inbuilt vibration motor can be used for haptic feedback or alerts. The inbuilt RTC module ensures accurate time. Power is supplied via an AXP192 power management chip, which monitors and controls the device's performance. The integrated TF card slot supports microSD cards with up to 16 GB. The integrated speaker is coupled with a power amplifier chip for the I2S digital audio interface to reduce signal distortion and provide clearer audio output. There are independent physical power and reset (RST) buttons on the sides of the Core2 for AWS, as well as 3 programmable touch buttons on the front of the screen.
The M5GO Bottom2 for AWS provides additional features and security for IoT applications. The MPU6886 provides an internal 6-axis IMU and temperature measurement, the SPM1423 digital microphone captures audio for recording or voice applications, 10 individually programmable RGB LEDs via the SK6812 enable customised and animated lighting effects, a 500mAh lithium-ion battery provides power on the go, the integrated ATECC608 Trust&GO crypto-authentication microchip is pre-programmed with secure keys to simplify connection to AWS and speed up cryptographic calculations. The CP2104 chip interface is reserved on the Core2 board for AWS to connect the lithium battery. Core2 For AWS uses the AXP192 as the power chip. Please initialise the "mbus" mode according to the power supply method as described below:
