Description
Product information "Makeblock mBuild flame sensor, detects flames and intensity, IR wavelength 760-1100 nm, 20mA"
The flame sensor from Makeblock's mBuild series detects infrared radiation in the 760 to 1100 nm range and is suitable for detecting flame sources. The module measures the intensity of the IR light and can therefore draw conclusions about the presence and approximate size of a flame. Due to its sensitivity to light, direct sunlight can lead to malfunctions.
The mBuild series is designed for plug-and-play applications and allows easy connection to mBot2 or CyberPi using mBuild cables. The flame sensor is particularly suitable for projects in the field of environmental sensor technology, safety technology or creative experiments in STEM lessons.
