Description
Product information "Monk Makes Plant Monitor, capacitive humidity sensor, -10-60°C, UART, 2.4 - 3.6V"
If you're struggling to keep your plants happy and not ruin them by overwatering, the Plant Monitor from Monk Makes is the solution. It offers a simple and user-friendly way to get started with sensing and gardening projects without having to solder. This plant-shaped PCB capacitively measures soil moisture. Capacitive measurements use only one probe, have no exposed metal parts and do not introduce DC currents into your plants, so the contacts will not corrode. The sensor not only measures soil moisture, but also temperature and relative humidity. It is compatible with the BBC micro , Raspberry Pi, Pico, Pico W and most microcontroller boards. Best used with boards that have alligator clip pads like the micro:bit.
