Product information "MyoWare 2.0 Reference Cable"
The MyoWare® 2.0 reference cable is intended as an extension for the reference pin of the MyoWare 2.0 muscle sensora. All you have to do is insert the pin into the housing and insert a biomedical sensor pad into the electrode holder. When you are finished, insert the reference cable's snap pin into a separate area of the body, e.g. a bony part of the elbow or a non-adjacent muscle near the target muscle that the MyoWare 2.0 muscle sensor's integrated reference pin cannot reach.
Note: The socket for the reference electrode remains active even when the cable is plugged in. Deactivate the socket by cutting the conductor track on the top of the sensor. Re-enable the socket by shorting the jumper pads with solder.
The MyoWare® 2.0 ecosystem consists of shields that easily connect to the MyoWare® 2.0 muscle sensor, a low-cost, Arduino-compatible, all-in-one electromyography (EMG) sensor from Advancer Technologies. The innovative connector system allows users to simply snap together the shields with a compact, low profile and connect them to the analogue input of a microcontroller to measure the raw, filtered and rectified electrical activity of a target muscle. This eliminates the need to solder connections between boards.
This product is a collaboration with Brian Kaminski of Advancer Technologies. A portion of the sales proceeds will go towards product support and further development.
