Product information "OnOff SHIM for Raspberry Pi"
Our SHIMs (Shove Hardware in the Middle) are a new range of boards designed to be small, affordable and handy. They are only 0.8mm thick (just the board, not including mounted components) and are designed to be soldered directly onto the GPIO pins of your Pi if desired, so you can use them with HATs and pHATs on top.
How to use
Simply plug your micro USB power supply into the micro B connector on the OnOff SHIM and then press once to switch on the power and power up your Pi. If has the Pimoroni software installed (see below), you can press and hold the button for one second to initiate a clean shutdown and completely remove power from your Pi .

It is possible to use OnOff SHIM and a 2.5A USB Micro-B power supply to power a Raspberry Pi 4. However, the recommended power specification for the Pi 4 is 3A, so low power issues may occur (especially when using power hungry USB devices).
Software
Pimoroni provides a one-line installer to set up a Clean Shutdown Daemon. It monitors the state of BCM pin 17 and, when set to low, initiates a clean shutdown. Shortly before your Pi is shut down, BCM pin 4 is set to low to completely cut off the power supply to your Pi.
To install the software, open a terminal and type

Nette Erweiterung für den Rasp...
Nette Erweiterung für den Raspi. Ich habe dieses Modul mit einem 3B+ und dem offiziellen Display verkabelt. Zwei Micro USB Kabel (20cm) ebenfalls hier aus dem Shop habe ich an den Ausgang gelötet, sodass nur drei Kabel an den GPIO gehen. An Stelle eines zusätzlichen Buttons habe ich einen 470uF 16V Elko gelötet (Minuspol nach Masse). Damit schaltet das Modul nach Stromausfall etc. automatisch wieder ein, der Button am Modul bleibt weiterhin nutzbar.
