The AS7343 14-Channel Multi-Spectral Sensor Breakout is a versatile sensor that can detect 14 different light channels ranging from 380 nm to 1000 nm. This sensor is optimised for reflective, transmissive and emissive measurements and is suitable for colour matching, liquid or reagent analysis and general spectral reconstructions. It can detect 14 spectral channels, including 12 in the visible spectrum (VIS) up to the near infrared range (NIR), a clear channel and a flicker channel.
The sensor uses an I2C interface and is compatible with the modular Breakout Garden system, which makes it easy to work with breakout modules. To use the Breakout Garden system, the module simply needs to be plugged into a corresponding slot and the project can be started immediately.
In addition, the sensor is compatible with Qwiic/STEMMA QT components, allowing connection to any microcontroller or add-on via a Qwiic or STEMMA QT connector using a Qw/ST cable without soldering.
