Product information "Pololu U3V16F5 5V step-up voltage regulator"

This compact (0.32"×0.515") switching step-up regulator efficiently generates 5 V from input voltages as low as 1.3 V and can handle continuous input currents of up to approx. 1.6 A.(Note: The minimum switch-on voltage is 2.7 V, but after that it goes down to 1.3 V). The pins are 0.1" apart so that the board is compatible with normal solderless breadboards and perfboards.
