The seeed Grove - 16-channel PWM driver (PCA9685) is based on the NXP PCA9685 and is a 16-channel 12-bit I2C PWM driver. This PWM driver can control up to 16 servos with external power supply. If you've ever worried about the limited number of PWM output interfaces on your development board, this product will help! The board can also be used as an LED controller and can be easily controlled via the I2C Grove interface. With 6 hardware address pins, up to 62 PCA9685 devices can be connected to the same I2C bus. Each of the 16 groups of pins (1 - 16) on this board includes a PWM signal pin, a 5V power supply pin and a ground pin.
