Product information "seeed Grove - 5mm LED, red"
The Grove - Red LED module is a universal LED module in Grove format. It is equipped with a red LED mounted in an LED holder. The LED is not permanently soldered, but can be plugged in, making it possible to replace it or use other colours. The module has an integrated potentiometer to control the brightness and adapt to different input voltages.
The orientation of the LED can be flexibly adjusted. The design of the circuit board allows the LED to be bent in different directions. This enables horizontal mounting, use as a stand-alone module or attachment to a front panel. It is mounted using the existing mounting holes on the circuit board. It can be used, for example, as a status indicator or signalling lamp within a prototype.
The module is connected via the Grove connection and can be integrated directly into compatible systems without any further soldering work. The simple handling and mechanical flexibility allow it to be used in a wide range of applications in prototype development, DIY projects and electronic control systems.
The integrated potentiometer allows manual adjustment of the LED brightness. The LED can therefore also be adapted to higher supply voltages without the need for additional components.
