The Grove - Base Kit for Raspberry Pi is a starter pack for an easy introduction to using the Raspberry Pi. It includes a Grove Base Hat for Raspberry Pi and ten Grove-compatible modules for sensors, actuators and displays. The modular design with Grove connections means that no soldering or complex wiring is required. The modules can be plugged directly onto the base hat and can be used immediately.
The kit is designed for entry-level Raspberry Pi projects and enables the practical realisation of typical applications such as environmental detection, motion detection, control of output devices or measurement of light and distance. Each included module is explained in a separate lesson in the accompanying instructions. The structured documentation provides a step-by-step introduction to the use of the hardware components. The scope of delivery includes an LED button, a buzzer, various sensors (humidity, temperature/humidity, light, movement, distance), a relay module, a servo motor and a 16×2 LCD module.
