Product information "seeed Grove CO2, Temperature & Humidity Sensor SCD41"
The Grove - SCD41 is a compact 3-in-1 environmental sensor for measuring CO2, humidity and temperature. Based on the Sensirion SCD41, the module utilises photoacoustic NDIR sensor technology, which enables high accuracy and a wide measurement range. Due to its small size, wide supply voltage, high robustness and adjustable power consumption, the sensor can be integrated into a variety of environmental monitoring applications, such as smart ventilation systems.
The Grove - CO2, temperature and humidity sensor module - SCD41 measures CO2 values in real time with an accuracy of ±(40 ppm + 5 %) in the range of 400 to 5,000 ppm. In addition, a humidity and temperature sensor are integrated, which enables optimised signal processing on the chip and output of additional values for relative humidity (RH) and temperature (T). The module measures 10.1 x 10.1 x 6.5 mm³ and supports an operating voltage of 2.4 V to 5.5 V. The sensor is suitable for various applications due to its robustness against external loads and the ability to reduce energy consumption to less than 0.4 mA on average.

The Grove - CO2 & Temperature & Humidity Sensor - SCD41 enables intelligent ventilation systems to control ventilation in an energy-efficient and user-friendly way. In addition, devices equipped with the SCD41 can monitor air quality and provide comfortable temperature and humidity control, supporting a healthy and productive environment.
PASens Technology is based on the photoacoustic measurement principle. This allows a strong miniaturisation of the CO2 sensor without compromising performance, as the sensor sensitivity remains independent of the size of the optical cavity. The reduced size and the lower number of integrated components result in a cost-efficient parts list structure. As a result, the SCD4x series opens up numerous new possibilities for use in various products and applications.
