Product information "seeed Grove - GrovePi+ HAT for Raspberry Pi"
The GrovePi+ is an expansion board with 15 Grove 4-pin interfaces for connecting Grove sensors to the Raspberry Pi. It is the latest version and is fully compatible with the Raspberry Pi models B, B+, A+, 2, 3 and 4. Three mounting holes enable installation on all Pi versions mentioned. There is also a cut-out for the camera cable. Improved level converter circuits have been added to the circuit board.
Communication takes place via optimised SPI and UART connections. Updating the firmware has been simplified.
GrovePi+ is an easy-to-use and modular system for hardware development with the Raspberry Pi. No soldering or breadboard is required. The Grove modules are connected via plug-and-play connections. Grove comprises over 100 modules for measuring and controlling physical variables, including sensors and actuators. In combination with the Raspberry Pi, interactive projects with a connection to the real world can be realised.
The GrovePi+ enables Grove components to be connected directly to the Raspberry Pi. Projects can be realised quickly by plugging in sensors and programming them via software. The modules are supplied with 5 V via the Vcc line of the Grove connections. The module offers digital, analogue, I2C and serial interfaces for integrating a wide range of components. The mounting options and connection features are designed so that the GrovePi+ can be optimally integrated into existing Raspberry Pi systems.
The expansion board is used for the simple integration of Grove sensors and actuators into Raspberry Pi projects. Applications can be found in areas such as environmental measurement, robotics, home automation, education and prototyping. The board allows structured system development without additional wiring and provides a stable platform for modular developments.
