The Grove - ORP Sensor Kit (HR-O) aims to measure the cleanliness of water and its ability to break down impurities. It uses a 5 metre IP68 ORP probe and offers a measurement range of -2000 mV to 2000 mV, operating at temperatures from 0-80°C. This sensor is part of the easy-to-use Grove ecosystem and supports Arduino programming. The environmentally friendly and RoHS-certified sensor measures the activity of oxidising agents and reducing agents in aqueous solutions and evaluates the self-purification power of lakes or rivers as well as the ability to break down waste products. Different oxidation-reduction processes have different ORP values (mV), with aerobic conditions having higher and anaerobic conditions lower ORP values.
