Grove - WS2813 RGB LED Strip Waterproof is a Grove-compatible LED strip that can be operated via the Grove interface. RGB WS2813 is often used in LED applications as it can display and be programmed with many colours. It is suitable for realising a wide range of lighting projects.
Grove - WS2813 RGB LED Strip Waterproof combines WS2813B LEDs with 5050 components to display various lighting effects. It supports the display of 16777216 colours with 256 brightness levels, and each of the 30 LEDs can be operated independently. The LED strip has intelligent protection against incorrect connection and enables signal bridging in the event of a fault. Even if the LEDs are defective, the remaining LEDs continue to work correctly. A transparent, waterproof coating protects the LED strip from environmental influences.
Grove - WS2813 RGB LED Strip Waterproof differs from conventional LED strips in that it uses WS2813 LEDs. These LEDs are more stable and more powerful than their WS2812 predecessors. By supporting signal transmission with a redundant line, complete failure in the event of a defective LED is avoided. In the event of a failure, the signal can be forwarded via a replacement line, which means that only the defective LED is affected and the others continue to function. This feature reduces maintenance costs and ensures reliable functionality.
The LED strip can be used for light shows, Christmas decorations, general lighting and for designing gaming rooms. The Grove-compatible interface makes it easy to connect to Seeeduino, Arduino or Arduino BaseShield without the need for soldering.
