Shelly Smart Home
Shelly: Innovative solutions for comfortable living
Smart home modules from Shelly have already found their way into many buildings and have proven their worth. Shelly stands for home automation that combines safe and innovative solutions. With your Raspberry Pi as a smart home control center and the practical products from Shelly, you have all the processes in your four walls under control. And: networking via WLAN makes the smart home experience not only fast and complicated, but also cost-effective.
Regulating your own power flow is child's play - via WLAN
Shelly 2.5: small but powerful. The Shelly 2.5 module is designed for maximum load of 2x2300W or 2x10A. Monitor the power consumption of all your devices and identify power hogs, now even better. Record current and past months' power consumption in the Shelly Cloud to save electricity. The Shelly 2.5 is 30% smaller than the Shelly 1PM and 5% smaller than the Shelly 1, saving you money and space.
Shelly modules can be used to regulate virtually the entire power supply of your home. For example, WLAN switches like the Shelly 1, which easily fits into a flush-mounted box, allow you to control light switches and other electrical loads throughout your home via a central app or voice assistant, such as the free Shelly app, Google Home or Amazon Alexa.
The same applies to the Shelly Plug S, the ideal addition for a smart home: the WLAN socket is simply plugged in like an adapter between the electrical consumer and the socket. This way, you can easily control your electrical appliances and also monitor the flow of electricity within your four walls, because the energy consumption is continuously measured by the plug.
In this way, power guzzlers can be quickly identified and appropriate precautions can be taken. A pleasant side effect of this system is that you also save money by saving energy. Another technical finesse: Shelly's smart home modules allow you to create individual daily schedules for your electrical appliances. Whether you want to switch off the lights at the same time every day or activate the coffee machine at the same time every morning, Shelly's plugs and switch actuators make it possible and simplify your everyday life in many ways. And: With the free cloud option, you can conveniently regulate all your switches and devices on the go.
Temperature sensors from Shelly: For an optimal indoor climate
With a WLAN temperature sensor from Shelly such as the Shelly H&T, you can keep track of the indoor climate in your home at all times. Inside your apartment or house, the range is even up to 30 meters - and with a CR123A battery, the sensor works without a power supply for up to 16 months.
However, Shelly's clever sensors not only serve the indoor climate, but also benefit the functionality of your dishwasher or washing machine. The Shelly Flood proves to be an ideal tool here, because the sensor monitors the conditions in terms of temperature and humidity to ensure the longest possible functionality of your household appliances. If there is an unwanted water leak in your home - for example, due to a leak or a technical defect - you will also receive a notification directly so that you can react immediately. If the cloud function is activated, you will even receive corresponding information while on the move.
Protection from uninvited guests
The practical smart home modules from Shelly undoubtedly make for a noticeably more comfortable living experience. But that's not all: the door and window sensors from Shelly are also suitable, for example, as effective protection against burglars. With the Shelly Door Sensor, for example, you can see at all times via your smartphone or tablet whether your doors and windows are open or closed. The module also integrates a lux sensor that measures the ambient brightness, a vibration sensor and a tilt angle sensor. This allows you to spot any uninvited guests while you are still on the move - provided the cloud function has been activated.
