This straight rod load cell (sometimes also referred to as a strain gauge) can convert pressure (force) of up to 10 kg into an electrical signal. Each load cell measures the electrical resistance, which changes depending on and in proportion to the load (e.g. pressure or force) applied to the rod. With this meter you can measure the weight of an object, track weight changes over time or simply detect the presence of an object by measuring the load or pressure on a surface.
