Description
Product information "SparkFun Thing Plus - XBee3 Micro, Chip Antenna"
The new XBee3 Micro module offers the classic, almost plug-and-play 802.15.4-2.4GHz wireless connectivity (Zigbee 3.0 protocol) that makes it so desirable, but with the new addition of being programmable with MicroPython (32KB memory available for this). RF data rates up to 250Kbps and ranges of 200 ft indoors and up to 4000 ft line of sight outdoors. The module is communicated/configured via an AT command set or the Digi-API, X-CTU, both locally and over-the-air. There is now even a mobile version of X-CTU; Digi XBee® Mobile.
Note: This variant uses a chip antenna and is not compatible with external antennas.
