Der Waveshare USB to RS232/485 Serial Converter ist ein kompakter und vielseitiger USB-zu-Seriell-Wandler, ausgestattet mit einem originalen FT232RNL-Chip. Er bietet schnelle, stabile und zuverlässige Kommunikation mit hoher Kompatibilität. Der Converter unterstützt USB zu RS232 oder RS485 und verfügt über eine TVS-Diode zum Schutz vor Überspannung und elektrostatischen Entladungen. Die integrierten selbst zurücksetzenden Sicherungen und Schutzdioden sorgen für stabile Strom- und Spannungsversorgung.
Der Adapter enthält eine RS232/485-Kommunikationsumschaltung, die über einen Schalter konfiguriert wird, sowie einen 120Ω-Abschlusswiderstand an der RS485-Schnittstelle, der über einen Schalter aktiviert oder deaktiviert werden kann. Drei LED-Anzeigen geben den Status von Stromversorgung, Senden und Empfangen an. Das Gehäuse besteht aus schützendem ABS-Material, wodurch der Converter tragbar und einfach zu nutzen ist.
